New Moon-Nov.26,2019-Washington, D.C.
This is the new Moon at 4 degrees of Sagittarius; the sign connected to faith and optimism, expansiveness and risk taking. It’s the adventurer, the spiritual seeker and teacher. This is a time for generosity and gratitude-qualities connected to the holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hannukah. It’s the light amidst the darkness (at least in the northern hemisphere) However, there is also an inconjunct aspect between the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius and Uranus in Taurus which indicates there will be a lightning bolt striking (figuratively speaking) if Sagittarius goes too far in its risk taking and there is also an inconjunct from Mars which is opposing Uranus so one needs to have some restraint when adventuring into unknown territory-it’s not a time for no holds barred (as the old saying goes) One needs to consider the feelings of others particularly one’s own family members which often are around during this time of year.
There is a nice trine aspect between the Sagittarian Sun and Moon and Chiron, the wounded healer, in Aries. This could indicate a healing in the part of you that has been afraid to be fully yourself in the midst of family and friends. Also, with the trine between Mercury, the communicator, and Neptune, the ruler of the spiritual realm, you may discover you have the ability to communicate your deepest feelings and express compassion for others thus becoming a meaningful time to connect with family and friends. Neptune is stationary at this time and about to go direct- having been retrograde since June- so this makes it particularly potent at this time.
Venus has just entered Capricorn so one may feel more cautious in a romantic relationship and with the Uranus trine it may be a good time for changes- even unexpected ones may free you for something new or for a change in the existing one. It could also be a good time for initiating a new creative project.
I’ve done the chart for Washington, D.C. and Capricorn is rising with the south Node and Saturn close to the Ascendant indicating it being a serious time of reaping what has been sown. It’s a time when misdeeds from the past will come home to roost and a reexamination of values will occur. Speaking out rashly will have repercussions but expressing compassion will be rewarded.
This is a general interpretation of the forces operating on this new moon but to get a full understanding of how it personally affects you,it helps to have a personal reading of your own natal chart.
