New Moon-July 17,2023

This New Moon is in the later degrees of Cancer, the sign associated with emotional nurturing and family. There is a challenging Grand Cross between the Sun and Moon in Cancer, the Nodal North and South Nodes and the Planet Pluto, associated with transformation. Pluto represents the dark night of the soul, an experience that represents actual death or death and rebirth. Hopefully, one goes through a challenging time of confronting places of psychological damage and emerges transformed. The process is difficult but the results are often worth it. This is particularly relevant for people born in the later degrees of the Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

There is a positive Trine aspect between the Sun-Moon in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces indicating that spiritual pursuits such as meditation, prayer, chanting and music of whatever kind puts one in a place of love and light can be very helpful in navigating this time.  There is also a positive Sextile aspect between the Sun-Moon in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn to the planet Uranus showing that openness to unexpected occurrences and insights is also very helpful in getting through the challenges. The Grand Cross aspect can affect us throughout the rest of this year but is particularly intense this month.

As usual, I have done the chart for Washington, D.C. and Scorpio is on the Ascendant indicating a very transformational time. There is a positive Trine aspect between the Ascendant and Saturn so I imagine it will help Biden be focused but with the challenging Square to Mercury there will probably still be some communication issues with Congress. However, Biden’s Sun and Venus in Scorpio are in a positive grand Trine aspect with the Sun-Moon in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces on this New Moon chart so it should be a very good time for him which probably means that he will have some very positive achievements and recognition which has already happened and hopefully will  continue.
