New Moon-Aug.4th,2024 and Full Moon-Aug.19,2024
This is a special moment in history as Kamala Harris has recently been chosen as the Democratic candidate for president and just after the New Moon she has chosen her running mate, Tim Walz, as vice president. This New Moon in Leo is the sign associated with leadership and the Sun and Moon conjunction in Leo are in harmonious relationship with Jupiter and Mars, the planets signifying action and expansiveness in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is associated with communication so this is an important time for powerful communication from leaders and powerful communications to our leaders.
The square aspect from Saturn to Jupiter indicates that it is necessary to have some structure and discipline accompanying communication from candidates for office. If a candidate just blurts out whatever pops into their mind, it can impede their ability to be elected.
The planet, Pluto, is in a difficult inconjunct aspect with Mercury in Virgo. This shows that being too perfectionistic in communicating may bring one into a dark psychological place. It is necessary to have a balance between having structure and boundaries but not being too uptight.
