This Full Moon with the Sun in nurturing, emotional Cancer and the Moon in practical, organized Capricorn is telling us that it’s a special time for loving relationships with family and close friends but keeping our boundaries is also important. As with all Full Moons there is always a balancing act between the energies of the Sun and those of the Moon. It’s like a seesaw. We are better not tilting to either extreme. With the positive aspect between the Moon in Capricorn and Jupiter in Pisces one can keep one’s boundaries without losing compassion.
There is still the same challenging T Square aspect between Saturn, Uranus and Mars as there was on the Summer Solstice showing us that we need to be ready to make changes in our life. This is not the time for giving up our self-discipline nor hanging tightly onto the past.
Venus is opposed by Pluto indicating there needs to be some transformation in our relationships and in our creative work. We need to leave time for inner exploration and letting go of the relationships or projects that are no longer serving our needs. With the positive Sextile aspect between Pluto and Neptune, meditation may be helpful for getting in touch with what we need to let go of and where we want to invest more of our energy. Neptune is also in a positive Trine aspect to Venus which helps in bringing more compassion and depth to our relationships.
Mercury is still aligned with the North Node of the Moon so communication is strong now. There is a Mystic Rectangle between this North Node-Mercury conjunction, Saturn, Mars and the South Node in Sagittarius. This aspect enables one to be a strong and creative communicator and teacher and to be successful in sharing ideas whether through speaking or writing.
