This New Moon is particularly powerful for people who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant in the sign of Taurus as there is a strong lineup of planets in Taurus beginning with Venus, the sign of relationships and creativity which is the ruler of Taurus at 10 degrees of Taurus ,then the Sun conjunct the Moon in Taurus at 18 degrees and next is the planet Uranus indicating change and unexpected events at 22 degrees of Taurus and finally Jupiter, the planet of expansion and good luck at 25 degrees of Taurus. Taurus is a very earthy earth sign so all these planets there show that this is the time to plant seeds and create beauty in one’s environment.
Right before all the Taurus lineup is a few planetary lineups in the sign of Aries beginning with Mars which happens to be the ruler of Aries and is associated with action and accomplishing things. This is a great time for undertaking new projects particularly of the creative sort since there is so much Taurus on the chart. The Lunar North Node is also in Aries opposite the south Node in Libra so it is important to proceed with a new project that touches your heart even if your partner or friend is not joining you. With Mercury conjunct to Chiron, it is showing that proceeding on our own and communicating our true desires is very healing for us at this time and with the positive Sextile aspect between Mars and Pluto it is transformative in a psychological sense.
Finally, Saturn and Neptune are both in Pisces showing that it is good to have boundaries when one shares one’s feelings and it is also helpful to meditate or do some spiritual practice to get more in touch with one’s feelings.
I have done this chart for Washington, as usual. Sagittarius is on the ascendant indicating the president will be in a traveling and teaching mode. He will be trying to let people understand how much he has accomplished in his 1st term in office. However, with the Square aspect to Neptune there may be some confusion in getting the message across.
