This is a powerful New Moon as it is also the Vernal Equinox so it is the beginning of the Astrological Year. The Sun and Moon are in energetic Aries, the 1st sign of the zodiac. There is also a lineup of other planets in Aries: Mercury, the messenger, Chiron, the wounded healer, and Jupiter, the adventurer and bringing of good fortune. All of this indicates a time of accomplishment and a good time to begin new projects.
Venus, the planet of love and sensuality and ruler of Taurus, is in Taurus as well as the north node of the moon. The south node is in Scorpio. This emphasizes sensuality and pleasure in nature as a positive force against emotional issues. With Uranus there as well, one can expect unexpected pleasures as well as some unexpected disruption of plans. “Life happens while we’re busy making other plans” according to John Lennon.
Saturn has recently entered Pisces after a few years in Aquarius so a focus on spirituality is transforming now.

I have done the chart for Washington, D.C. and Cancer is on the Ascendant, showing emotional nurturing and it is in a positive trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces indicating that Biden and his supporters will be showing care and compassion for the needs of people in our country and as well as in other parts of the world. With the opposition from Pluto, there will probably be others in the government who oppose him which is no surprise. There will probably be a tumultuous amount of communication shown by the inconjunct between Mars and Pluto. As usual, lets hope for the best.
